Therapy for Teens

Adolescence is a time filled with change and self-discovery. Relationships with friends take center stage and these friendships are fluid. Academic pressure becomes significant. Family life can be fraught with the push and pull of teenagers seeking independence on the one hand and parental support on the other. These dynamics can lead to increased stress, anxiety, loneliness and confusion.

Therapy can help address the many issues that teenagers face. In working with teens, I strive to create a safe and confidential space where they can understand themselves, the challenges and changes they’re going through, and how to grow emotionally.
